I am the new Instructional Designer at Scitent Technologies and have been waiting for an opportunity to share a little bit about myself and my field with all blog readers.

In recent years, health education is something I have become passionate about and I am truly grateful that I can utilize my skills as an instructional designer in an environment that focuses on increasing health-related knowledge across several audiences.  Not only does this company promote healthy living internally, but the overall mission here is to build healthier lives for all!

I have always advocated for technology in education.  By keeping up with current technology trends and consistently reflecting on those trends, I hope to enhance current forms of instruction and design new courses that will ultimately benefit our society as whole.

In the future, I will share my knowledge on several instructional systems design topics, including: innovative tools for delivering content, how games aid adult learners, benefits for the tech-savvy learner, and adult learning theory!  Enjoy!
